Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts (night), 36-hour guarantee; schedule varies and may include weekends. Exact start/end times set by facility (night coverage).

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients across Med-Surg and inpatient rehab
- Serve as backup Charge Nurse when asked, providing leadership and supervision
- Provide meaningful patient and family teaching to support recovery and discharge goals
- Collaborate with ancillary staff and the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care
- Document and chart accurately in Cerner EMR
- Support unit operations while maintaining nurse-to-patient ratio expectations (approximately 1:4–1:5)
- Adhere to facility attendance and call-off policies to ensure reliable patient coverage
Qualifications
- Active RN license — Vermont or Compact licensure accepted (must be uploaded to profile)
- Minimum 2 years recent Med-Surg and Rehab nursing experience (required)
- Charge RN experience (required)
- Previous travel nursing experience of at least 3 months (required)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
- BSN strongly preferred
- Must have own vehicle (small community without public transport) and reside more than 50 miles from facility to qualify as a traveler
- Include permanent address and any requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
