Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts (40 hrs/week) with some flexibility; exact start/end times vary by unit and will be provided by facility. Day shifts expected; schedule requires limited RTO and no holiday RTO.

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub confidently for neuro, orthopedics, and total joint procedures, maintaining high proficiency in technique
- Prepare the operating room and specialized instruments and supplies for a variety of surgical cases
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile technique to ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Assist with circulating duties as needed to support the surgical team and smooth case flow
- Provide a calm, focused environment in the OR and communicate clearly with surgeons and perioperative staff
- Use and care for specialized surgical equipment, ensuring readiness and proper handling
Qualifications
- NBSTSA certification required
- Active New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration required
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Minimum of 2 years current CST experience, with documented scrubbing experience in general, ortho, neuro, and endoscopy
- High proficiency specifically in neuro, orthopedics, and total joint cases is non-negotiable
- Traveler must have reliable personal vehicle for the assignment
- Perm address must be included in your profile; include any/all RTO and scheduling requests at submission
- At least 1 supervisory signed reference from the past two years required (2 preferred); current skills checklist/CST documentation required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert scrubbing technique for Neuro, Ortho, and Total Joints
- Aseptic and sterile field maintenance
- Operating room preparation and setup
- Surgical instrument handling and care
- Circulating duties and intraoperative support
- Experience with endoscopy cases
- Ability to work effectively in a small department with limited RTO
