Shift Type: Variable days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift, non-overnight)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while preserving dignity
- Monitor and record resident condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate kindly and clearly with residents, families, and coworkers
- Participate in care planning and follow facility policies and infection control practices
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (Maine certification preferred or eligible)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working evenings and flexible scheduling
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
- Experience working with elderly or long-term care residents is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic resident care
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Basic mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
