Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents—assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the clinical team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics to protect both you and your residents
- Assist with meal service and feeding when needed, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Document care clearly and promptly to keep the care team informed
- Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote person-centered care
- Step in calmly during emergencies and follow facility protocols to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- State CNA license required or eligible to obtain (Maine)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift and adapt to assignment scheduling
- Current immunizations, TB test, background check, and drug screen per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Proficient at taking and charting vital signs and basic observations
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Good time management and ability to prioritize care tasks
- Compassionate, patient-focused bedside manner and strong teamwork
- Basic charting and documentation skills
