Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, observe changes, and report concerns promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support while promoting patient dignity
- Support mealtime and feeding assistance, including adherence to dietary needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and providing direct resident care
- Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required immunizations as per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Compassionate patient interaction and teamwork
