Shift Type: Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Deliver personable, respectful support that preserves resident dignity and independence
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Support mobility, transfers and safe ambulation while using proper body mechanics
- Participate in team huddles and communicate effectively with nurses, therapists and families
- Maintain cleanliness, infection control and a safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain necessary credentials for practice
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care with empathy and professionalism
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding: background check, immunizations and drug screen as required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of ADLs, patient transfers and safe resident handling
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control practices and basic clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
