Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in condition accurately
- Support safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Communicate observations and changes to nursing staff and participate in team handoffs
- Help create a positive, respectful experience for residents and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA) required
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and working as part of a care team
- Ability to follow facility policies, maintain professional documentation, and communicate clearly
- Willingness to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift as scheduled
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent; High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care and assisting with ADLs
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Good observation and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with nursing staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
