Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to ICU patients during night shifts
• Monitor, assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators and advanced life support interventions as needed
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the EMR (Meditech 6.0 experience preferred)
• Accept scheduled 24-hour call shifts and respond promptly to patient care needs
• Float to Med-Surg when required and deliver safe, compassionate care across units

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Prior ICU nursing experience (critical care skills expected)
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical unit when needed
• Ability to take scheduled 24-hour call shifts
• Comfortable using electronic medical records; Meditech 6.0 experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical-care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficient in ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Medication administration and titration in ICU settings
• Clear, concise clinical documentation and handoff communication
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead in high-acuity situations
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and floating between units
