Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Assess and monitor patient status, intervening promptly when changes occur
• Document care thoroughly and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support patients and families with clear explanations and empathetic care
• Participate in shift handoffs and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse credential (LPN or RN)
• Valid state license or eligibility to obtain state licensure for assignment
• Experience in acute or long term care settings preferred
• Comfort working independently during night shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Basic Life Support certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Ability to prioritize and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
