Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to rehabilitation patients in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications safely and accurately, following facility policies and physician orders
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Support mobility, restorative nursing, and rehabilitation goals to help patients regain independence
- Document care thoroughly and clearly in the medical record to support continuity and compliance
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to create and follow individualized care plans
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient/family education to ensure safe transitions
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Maryland (LPN required; RNs with relevant experience may also be considered)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing care is highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and a patient-centered attitude
- Ability to work the evening/second shift schedule (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or equivalent state-approved nursing program)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of rehab nursing practices and restorative care
- Proficiency with medication administration and nursing documentation
- Familiarity with infection control standards and safety best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (PT/OT/SLP, social work, physicians)
- Good critical thinking and patient assessment skills
