Shift Type: 4x10 day shifts (4 ten-hour shifts per week), 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Day shift; includes 1 on-call shift per week and approximately every 4th Saturday (weekend coverage as part of regular schedule). Exact days vary based on facility schedule.

Candidate Pay Rate: $85 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients closely and maintain accurate hemodynamic and procedural monitoring throughout cases
- Perform EKG lead placement and troubleshoot monitoring equipment to ensure diagnostic quality
- Maintain sterile scrub technique and assist physicians during EP, IR and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and manage procedural equipment including devices used for PCI, TAVR, Impella, thrombectomy and atherectomy
- Assist with device insertion and support for temporary LVAD/Impella and other circulatory support devices when indicated
- Chart procedural and patient care documentation in Epic promptly and accurately
- Support interdisciplinary teams across diagnostic cardiac cath, EP lab, interventional radiology and special procedures
- Respond to on-call duties and weekend coverage as scheduled to ensure continuous patient care
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab / EP / IR / vascular experience
- RCIS or ARRT (R) required for Cath Lab; RCES also acceptable per posting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with patient monitoring, sterile scrub technique and EKG lead placement
- Experience with McKesson and Epic charting systems preferred
- Willingness to float to Cath Lab as needed and to work scheduled on-call shifts
- Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- First-time travel clinicians accepted — traveler will be oriented by staff
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
- Electrophysiology (EP) studies, mapping and ablation support
- Interventional Radiology procedures and vascular interventions
- Device familiarity: Impella, temporary pacemakers, TAVR support, atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
- Sterile technique, EKG lead placement and accurate procedural monitoring
- Experience with MacLab/Cardio Lab and Philips X-Ray systems a plus
- Comfort documenting in Epic and navigating McKesson for cath lab workflows
- Able to work across adult and geriatric patient populations and support complex cases
