Shift Type: Weekend, 3x12-Hour Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night). Minimum Every-Other-Weekend rotation (block schedule, 36 hours/week)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Float confidently across ICUs (Neuro, CVICU, SICU, MICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics) to meet changing patient needs
- Manage ventilated patients and perform ventilator management with safe, evidence-based practice
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and titrate vasoactive/cardiac drips as ordered
- Start and maintain IV access, manage central/PICC lines and administer blood products safely
- Provide high-acuity neurological care including NIHSS assessments, EVD/ICP monitoring and stroke management
- Deliver infection prevention and isolation precautions to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RT, PT, Pharmacy, Social Work) to coordinate complex care
- Respond to emergencies and administer emergency medications and procedural sedation monitoring
Qualifications
- Active RN license (state-appropriate) and ability to work in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system (required)
- Demonstrated experience with IV start, telemetry monitoring and ventilator management
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Comfort floating to units of equal or lower acuity and flexible with unit assignments
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing fundamentals across Neuro, Cardiac, Surgical and Medical ICUs
- Advanced cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Ventilator management, ABG interpretation and high-flow oxygen therapies (BiPAP/CPAP/HFNC)
- Central/PICC/arterial line care and blood product administration
- IV therapy, titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, and continuous IV sedation/paralytics care
- Familiarity with NIHSS assessments, EVD/ICP monitoring and post-op cardiac care
- Infection prevention, isolation precautions and safe procedural monitoring
- Strong communication, critical thinking and rapid-response capabilities in high-acuity settings
