Shift Type: Variable nights (days may vary), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Night shift (includes call rotation)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize personnel and resources to ensure continuous, timely patient care across urgent care, emergency, inpatient, and operative services
- Monitor daily operations by integrating data from electronic systems, communications, and unit rounds to improve care effectiveness and patient satisfaction
- Allocate and redirect resources based on acuity, patient needs and staff skill mix to maintain safety and quality
- Manage patient flow and capacity, coordinating admissions and placements to optimize unit efficiency
- Collaborate across departments — Emergency, Surgery, Critical Care, Cath Lab and Inpatient Units — during high census situations
- Provide crisis management and interpret policy and procedure to support consistent, effective responses
- Serve as a leadership presence on nights, guiding staff, supporting clinical decision-making, and fostering a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Maine or Compact Licensure required
- Minimum 3 years progressive management/leadership experience required; 5 years preferred
- Previous experience as a supervisor, manager, coordinator, Charge Nurse, Unit Coordinator or Director preferred
- Ability to work nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and participate in call rotation
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management capabilities
