Shift Type: Day shifts with variable start times. Typical schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours). Example shift times include Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Shifts may range from 3 to 12 hours, and may require mid-shift travel between locations. Day

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams and related imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality
• Deliver compassionate patient care and clear communication to put patients at ease
• Operate CT and general radiography equipment, adhering to protocol and radiation safety standards
• Support walk-in care locations by assisting with patient registration and clerical tasks as needed
• Travel between the main hospital campus and satellite facilities during shifts when required
• Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure efficient throughput and exceptional patient experience
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with ARRT and facility policies
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance imaging services

Qualifications

• CT experience is required — do not submit without CT experience
• ARRT registration (required)
• Maine RT licensure (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Comfortable performing Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm and Portable Radiography (preferred)
• Willingness to work at multiple sites and assist with patient registration/clerical duties
• Flexible schedule mindset and ability to adapt to changing shift locations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Computed Tomography (CT) imaging techniques and protocols
• Skilled in general radiography and X-ray procedures
• Familiarity with Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm use, and Portable Radiography
• Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and support walk-in clinics
• Basic clerical and patient registration skills for off-site locations
