Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly with 60-minute evaluations to establish clear, individualized treatment plans
- Provide focused treatment sessions (typically 30–45 minutes) one-on-one with patients
- Deliver outpatient orthopedic care across diagnoses and ages, adapting interventions to patient needs
- Use EPIC and Expro for accurate documentation and efficient clinical workflows
- Apply standard PT modalities (e.g., Estim, ultrasound) safely and effectively; device-specific training provided as needed
- Educate patients and families on exercises, assistive devices, safety and injury prevention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer to specialists when appropriate
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and timely submission of profile/scheduling details
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy license in hand at profile upload (Compact allowed)
- Minimum 2+ years of current Physical Therapy experience — no new grads
- Required outpatient orthopedics experience
- Experience with EPIC and Expro (both required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) required
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment and include permanent address in profile
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
- Able to commit to facility scheduling rules — RTO must be provided at submission and is limited (no more than 5 days)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient evaluation and clinical reasoning skills for outpatient orthopedics
- Proficiency with EPIC and Expro documentation systems
- Competency with standard PT modalities (Estim, ultrasound) and willingness to complete device-specific training
- Ability to provide one-on-one care with efficient time management (typical day: 2–3 evaluations + multiple 30-min treatments)
- Comfort treating adults and experience with all age groups welcome
- Excellent patient communication, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Professional presentation consistent with dress code (scrubs or business casual; no open toe/back shoes)
