Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care patients
- Manage ventilators and advanced airway interventions with confidence and precision
- Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and develop patient-centered care plans
- Train and mentor RT colleagues to raise the standard of care across the unit
- Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date compliance records
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active Oklahoma state respiratory license required
- Minimum 6 months of RRT clinical experience (required)
- Must submit all compliance documentation at least one week prior to start
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care experience across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Proficiency in cardiopulmonary care and ventilator management
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience training and mentoring respiratory therapy staff
- Good documentation practices and familiarity with clinical workflows
- Teamwork, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced critical care setting
