Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for rehab patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Assess and monitor patient status, documenting changes in condition
- Collaborate with therapists and the interdisciplinary team to support recovery goals
- Assist with care planning and discharge preparation to promote successful transitions
- Educate patients and families on care plans, mobility, and safety techniques
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Current immunizations and TB test per facility policy
- Comfortable working in a rehab setting; previous rehab experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for RN)
- For LPN roles: vocational nursing diploma or certificate (if applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and patient assessment
- Experience with rehab nursing practices and mobility assistance
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong teamwork and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
