Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN or RN in an acute/rehab setting
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document accurately to ensure safe care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to create and follow individualized care plans
• Perform assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly to the team
• Support patient mobility and rehabilitation goals while promoting dignity and independence
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license valid in New Mexico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification; advanced certifications welcomed
• Clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or related settings preferred
• Ability to work a long day shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) reliably and independently
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Proof of vaccination and health screening per facility requirements

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Familiarity with wound care, IV therapy basics, and rehabilitation nursing concepts
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and triage in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records and standard nursing workflows
• Cultural sensitivity and patient education skills
