Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned caseloads
- Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and discharge needs
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (eligible for New Mexico practice)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — or willing to obtain prior to start
- Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Proof of immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN depending on licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Comfortable with electronic medical record (EMR) charting
- Ability to prioritize, triage, and handle multiple tasks safely
- Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication skills
