Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned caseloads
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment plans, and discharge needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (eligible for New Mexico practice)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — or willing to obtain prior to start
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Proof of immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN depending on licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical record (EMR) charting
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and handle multiple tasks safely
• Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication skills
