Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and maintain clear, timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create effective care plans
• Monitor patient status and escalate concerns to providers when needed
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license appropriate for the state of New Mexico or proof of eligibility
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; advanced certs a plus
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements including health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program for LPNs
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family communication
