Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned population
• Assess patient condition, implement care plans, and document clinical findings
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
• Monitor and report changes in patient status to providers promptly
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (RN) — LPN candidates may be considered per facility needs
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications encouraged
• Clinical skills in med-surg and general patient care; strong assessment and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a positive, patient-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and credentialing for travel assignments

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ASN, BSN or nursing diploma)
• Additional specialty training or continuing education a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing process, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across disciplines
