Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during night hours
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments following facility policies and scope of practice
• Collaborate with RN team members and interdisciplinary staff to support patient plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations with sound clinical judgment
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote safe transitions

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (or ability to obtain) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS a plus
• Previous clinical experience in acute care or rehab settings preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication, critical thinking and patient-centered care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN may be applicable for RN roles

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Effective communication with patients, families and clinical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
