Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in line with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the medical record
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support safe discharges
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (New Mexico) or equivalent state licensure as applicable
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Clinical experience in a relevant setting; rehab or acute care experience is a plus
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
