Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the Uptown Health / Rehab area
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Document care and communicate findings clearly with the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient mobility and rehabilitation goals in collaboration with therapists
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (class LPN | RN as listed)
• Comfortable working 12+ hour daytime shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Experience in acute care or rehab settings preferred given the Uptown Hlth/Rhb area
• Current basic clinical skills and the ability to document and communicate clearly
• Willingness to work on a travel contract and adapt to facility-specific processes

Education

• Education appropriate to licensure: LPN diploma or RN (ADN/BSN) as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills
• Medication administration and basic IV/line familiarity as applicable
• Skilled at documentation and electronic charting
• Ability to collaborate closely with therapists and interdisciplinary teams
• Good time management and prioritization during longer day shifts
• Customer-service mindset with patients and families
