Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift (12.5-hour shift, includes 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer safe, compassionate patient care within scope of practice as an LPN or RN
- Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes to the care team
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the facility’s systems
- Support a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and participating in unit initiatives
Qualifications
- Required: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or similar settings preferred
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Clear background checks and immunizations per facility policy
Education
- LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Excellent communication, patient education, and bedside manner
