Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care during the night shift, keeping patients comfortable and stable
• Conduct thorough assessments and document changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to support positive outcomes
• Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively, following unit protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (position is open to LPN/LVN or RN classified candidates per order classification)
• Comfort working the 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM night shift
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR is commonly required by facilities (verify during application)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and bedside care skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize in a busy night environment
• Clear communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting (EHR)
