Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care with attention to safety and dignity
• Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Document care clearly in the patient record and communicate updates to the team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Escalate clinical concerns promptly to ensure timely intervention

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN/LPN) — New Mexico licensure preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Professional, positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Practical Nursing diploma/certificate as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision making
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting
• Infection control principles and standards
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
