Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Assess patient condition and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
• Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control, and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential — one of these licenses required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Relevant clinical experience caring for adult patients (hospital or acute care preferred)
• Ability to work the assigned overnight schedule reliably and professionally
• Current immunizations and health screenings as required by the facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or nursing program (or equivalent RN program for RN candidates)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient status
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Clear communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritization and time-management in a fast-paced clinical environment
