Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and clinical assessments
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, timely records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse classification (LPN|RN) as indicated in the order
- Appropriate state nursing license for New Mexico (applicable to assignment location)
- Proven ability to perform nursing duties during extended day shifts
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and care coordination
