Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and/or geriatric patients
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation and ensure smooth shift handoffs
• Support unit goals, contribute to a positive team culture, and mentor colleagues when possible

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the U.S. (LPN candidates may be considered depending on facility needs)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Clinical experience in a hospital or rehab setting preferred
• Comfort with medication administration, IV therapy, and patient assessment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Willingness to complete facility orientation and mandatory training as required

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
• RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients safely
• Team collaboration and clear communication with providers and support staff
