Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside nursing care to assigned patients with professionalism and kindness
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough patient assessments and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to create and implement care plans
• Support patient and family education, preparing them for discharge and follow-up care
• Follow facility policies and safety protocols to maintain a high standard of care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — New Mexico licensure required or ability to obtain
• Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Current basic clinical skills appropriate for LPN practice in an acute or post-acute setting

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) required; RN applicants with equivalent credentials may be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and vital-sign monitoring with attention to change in condition
• Safe medication administration and documentation
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) workflows
• Infection control practices and adherence to facility policies
• Clear communication and teamwork across interdisciplinary care teams
