Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor patient condition throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain safety and infection control standards at all times
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico
• Recent clinical experience in nursing roles is preferred
• Comfortable working an overnight 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM shift
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program appropriate to licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
• Time management and prioritization in overnight care settings
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to respond effectively to urgent clinical needs
