Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform timely assessments and monitor patients, escalating concerns when needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Document clinical care clearly in the electronic medical record
• Assist with wound care, mobility support and activities of daily living as appropriate
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and urgent situations
• Help create a calm, restful overnight environment that promotes recovery

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license for New Mexico (LPN) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Previous experience in acute care or rehab settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and patient assessment
• Familiarity with basic wound care and mobility assistance
• Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
• Able to prioritize tasks in a busy overnight environment
• Collaborative approach to working with nurses, therapists and clinicians
