Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on every shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient condition, record changes and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and independence
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support rehab-focused activities and assist with mobility and ADLs as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico required (LPN candidates considered where appropriate)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Comfort working in a rehab/acute care setting; prior rehab experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to meet facility credentialing and onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited RN program (Associate Degree in Nursing, Diploma or BSN). LPN diploma for LPN candidates.

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Skilled at vital sign assessment and recognizing clinical changes
• Experience with wound care, mobility assistance and rehab support
• Proficient in electronic charting and clear clinical communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
