Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to patients in the Uptown Rehab area
• Perform timely medication administration and thorough documentation
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
• Support rehabilitation plans and assist with activities of daily living
• Participate in handoffs and ensure clear communication across shifts
• Maintain infection control practices and facility policies for patient safety

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to facility schedules
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Professional attitude, dependability, and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program (as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical observation skills
• Medication administration and basic IV/line familiarity as applicable to role
• Wound care and rehab-supportive nursing techniques
• Accurate charting in electronic medical records and clear clinical communication
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
