Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a rehabilitation setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physical, occupational and speech therapists to support recovery goals
• Educate patients and families on care plans, safe mobility and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and perform timely handoffs
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (able to work as LPN or RN depending on assignment)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation, med-surg, or a related nursing area is a plus
• Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts and delivering consistent, compassionate care
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment, care planning and rehabilitation-focused interventions
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Wound care and basic restorative nursing techniques
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work effectively within a team
