Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to adult patients in a rehab/acute care setting
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and clinical changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with policy
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and safety
• Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical emergencies during your shift
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (New Mexico or eligible) — RN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Comfort and ability to work overnight 12+ hour shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma, ADN, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Experience or interest in rehabilitation and acute care workflows
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy overnight setting
• Strong bedside manner and patient-centered communication
