Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned unit
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and update care plans
• Document care, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure continuity of care
• Promote a safe environment by following infection control and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (NM licensure preferred; licensure assistance available)
• Active BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN for Registered Nurse)
• LPN candidates should have completion of an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and standard nursing technology
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
• Basic wound care and rehab support experience is a plus
