Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients during overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly
• Document patient care and observations clearly in the EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support patients and families with education and empathetic communication
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license valid in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, reliable attendance, and a team-player attitude
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• Completed accredited LPN program or equivalent vocational training
• Additional coursework or certifications in long-term care or med-surg a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and vital signs monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation
• Wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable using electronic health records
• Good communication and time management during busy night shifts
