Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the overnight shift in a rehab/health area
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Assess and monitor patient status — vitals, skin integrity, pain and overall wellbeing
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with therapists and the interdisciplinary team to support recovery goals
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
• Respond to clinical changes and escalate concerns to the appropriate provider

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on care in a rehab/health setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team

Education

• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and nursing assessments
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety protocols
• Comfortable providing direct patient care and documenting care accurately
