Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care during overnight hours, monitoring and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all interventions
• Perform timely assessments and communicate clinical findings to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update individualized care plans
• Maintain thorough, timely electronic documentation and ensure continuity of care at shift change
• Support patient and family education, answering questions and providing clear instructions
• Uphold safety and infection control standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure for New Mexico
• Previous clinical experience in an acute care or rehab setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — current
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or practical nursing diploma as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and documentation
• Patient assessment and clinical monitoring during overnight shifts
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or acute care environments is a plus
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
