Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care to support recovery and comfort
• Assist with daily living activities and monitor patients for changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update care plans
• Document patient information accurately and promptly to ensure continuity of care
• Support medication administration and follow up on physician orders as required by scope
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — candidates with Registered Nurse (RN) status are also considered
• Active nursing license in good standing (state licensure required)
• Strong clinical judgment and a caring bedside manner
• Comfortable working night shifts and collaborating with a diverse care team
• Willingness to follow facility policies and maintain professional documentation

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent vocational nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring skills to detect changes in condition
• Fundamental nursing procedures and safe medication practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Basic wound care and infection control practices
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
