Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to diverse populations
• Perform timely assessments and document clinical findings clearly in the chart
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policies
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute effective care plans
• Monitor patients’ responses and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and discharge readiness
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential — required
• Current, unrestricted nursing license (LPN or RN) in good standing
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Appropriate nursing education for LPN or RN licensure (LPN diploma or RN degree/diploma as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
