Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes clearly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document actions accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
• Support a positive patient experience by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and strong clinical judgment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — New Mexico license required or ability to obtain
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; other certifications welcomed
• Prior experience in a clinical nursing role preferred but passionate new grads with clinical experience are encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and bedside care
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Patient assessment and reporting clinical changes
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and charting best practices
• Basic wound care and IV/medication competency where applicable
