Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients, prioritizing safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
- Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, therapists and support staff to create coordinated care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications and follow-up needs
- Support discharge planning and smooth transitions to the next level of care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical, rehabilitation, or acute care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a team
- Reliable, professional, and able to manage time during busy 12+ hour shifts
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
- Skilled in patient assessment, wound care basics, and infection prevention
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and completing timely charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple patients, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Familiarity with standard safety protocols and patient handling techniques
