Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients according to plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition, report changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and family communication
• Support a culture of safety and quality improvement on your unit

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — LPN and RN candidates were listed for this order; LPN selected for this posting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and performing direct patient care
• Professional, reliable, and able to communicate clearly with patients and the care team

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
• RN applicants should have an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring skills
• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
• Teamwork, clear communication, and patient-focused bedside manner
