Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM; overnight schedule, days of week vary and will be confirmed with hiring manager
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the rehab/health center
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
- Administer medications safely and document treatments accurately
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians and support staff to create and follow individualized care plans
- Support patient mobility, safety and rehabilitation goals during the shift
- Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate critical information to incoming staff
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
- Experience in rehab, long-term care or acute care settings preferred
- Strong assessment, medication administration and documentation skills
- Professional, patient-centered attitude and good teamwork skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program: ADN, ASN or BSN for RNs; Practical Nursing diploma for LPNs
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient observation skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work independently overnight and escalate concerns appropriately
- Good communication skills with patients, families and care teams
