Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight). Specific days to be confirmed with scheduling team

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to patients in the Uptown Health/Rehab area during overnight hours
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
- Document care and interventions clearly in the facility charting system
- Support rehabilitation goals by assisting with treatments, mobility, and patient education
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in infection control practices and maintain a safe patient environment
- Respond promptly and effectively to patient needs and overnight emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (or active RN credential if applying as an RN) — state licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Comfortable working overnight shifts in a rehab/long-term care setting
- Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program for LPN candidates (or appropriate nursing degree for RN candidates)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Experience or comfort working in a rehabilitation/long-term care environment
- Basic assessment, wound care, and patient monitoring skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
- Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
