Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on your unit
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status, intervening as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care in the medical record with clarity and attention to detail
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Respond to emergencies and assist with procedures as required
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care after discharge

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — ready to work in New Mexico
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and managing acutely ill patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Prior acute care or med-surg experience preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work well under pressure
• Professional, compassionate patient and family communication
