Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient conditions closely
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Support patient and family education to promote positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
• Participate in unit workflows and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

• Active LPN license for New Mexico or active RN license for New Mexico (as applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous clinical experience preferred but strong new graduates with great references are encouraged
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Comfortable with patient assessment, wound care fundamentals, and vital signs
• Efficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Good critical thinking, prioritization, and time management
• Great teamwork skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and families
